HAYWARD, Calif – After struggling on offense for the first half, the Monte Vista Mustangs defeated the San Leandro Pirates 28-12 in their 2011 NCS quarterfinal playoff game at Chabot College in Hayward, Calif.
Monte Vista advances to face crosstown rival San Ramon Valley next week in the semifinals.
