CONCORD, Calif. – The De La Salle Spartans (7-1, 5-0) once again dominated all sides of the ball in a strong win over rival San Ramon Valley (6-2, 4-1) 40-3 on a crisp Friday night, Oct 28, 2011 in Concord, CA.
The Wolves’ Cal-bound QB Zach Zline was pressured all night (sacked nine times) and could not get a passing or running game going against a strong Spartan defense.
De Le Salle’s offense was just too fast and QB Bart Houston was too accurate (8-11-0 237) for the struggling San Ramon Valley defense.
