Newark Memorial traveled from Fremont Friday night for a non-conference game against a fast Oakland Tech team and walked away with a decisive victory. The Cougars (2-1-1, 1-0) won 42-19 on a strong running game lead by running back Hunter Rockwell and QB Jesse Tate. The Oakland Tech Bulldogs fall to 1-4, but look to rebound as league play is about to begin next week.
